View product →An engine oil additive package is a carefully balanced blend of seven to ten functional chemistries — each addressing a specific failure mode the base oil alone cannot manage. Anti-wear additives protect cam-and-follower contact under boundary lubrication. Detergents neutralise acidic combustion products. Dispersants suspend soot in HDD service. VI improvers maintain pumpability across a working temperature range. Antioxidants extend drain interval. Pour point depressants ensure cold-start performance.
Get any one of these wrong — under-treat, over-treat, or pair chemistries that compete for the same metal surface — and the finished oil either fails its OEM approval test or shortens the engine's life in field service. Our DI packages are calibrated to deliver a balanced response across all relevant failure modes at a treat rate honest enough to keep your finished-oil margin healthy.
