Why eMobility additives are different

An EV powertrain is a chemistry problem, not a mechanical one.

An EV transmission has no flame front, no fuel dilution, no soot — but it does have copper windings carrying 600–800 V, thin-film bearings spinning at 18,000–22,000 rpm, and cooling fluid in direct contact with the eMotor stator. The additive chemistry that works in a 5W-30 PCMO is the chemistry that fails in an ETF: sulfur attacks copper, conductivity rises with detergent load, foaming kills the dielectric heat-transfer coefficient.

Lubechem's eMobility range is engineered backward from those failure modes. Every chemistry is screened on conductivity, copper compatibility (ASTM D130 1A pass), wet-air oxidation stability, and electromagnetic interaction with thin-film tribology. We co-developed our launch range with India's leading EV OEMs and Tier-1 transmission suppliers — and we ship samples in 48 hours.

Why Lubechem is first to this category in India

The OEMs are launching in 12 months. The Western houses are 18 months out. We're already shipping samples.

The global additive majors all carry eMobility ranges — but imported chemistry into India typically runs 16–22 weeks for bulk supply, and the treat-rate calibration is for European and US OEM platforms. Lubechem's eMobility range was developed for Indian EV launch programs in 2026–2028, with treat rates calibrated against Indian climate conditions (45 °C ambient, dust ingress), Indian charging infrastructure (high voltage swing), and Indian OEM cost targets.
