Lubechem Additives is the manufacturing arm of Lubechem Group — India's independent lubricant formulation R&D consultancy since 2010. We engineer 285+ additive packages in our Delhi NCR lab, calibrated against the API, ACEA, JASO, BIS and OEM test rigs that finished oils have to pass. Many additive suppliers in India re-sell imported chemistry; we do the opposite — engineer our own packages from the formulator's side of the table.
2010 — Lubechem Consultant founded. Er. Manoj Kumar — chemical engineer, fifteen years inside Indian blending plants — set up an independent formulation consultancy in Delhi NCR. Within four years we were running BIS approval campaigns for blenders across India and engine oil DI development for a UAE customer.
2010–2024 — 500+ finished oils formulated. Across PCMO, HDD, 2T/4T motorcycle, hydraulic, gear, grease, marine cylinder, industrial gear, ATF, coolant and transformer oils. Every formulation taught us exactly which additive families work, which treat rates pass which test, and which chemistries the Western suppliers were overselling.
2026 — Lubechem Additives launched as the manufacturing arm. The decision was simple: we had the formulator's knowledge of what each package needed to deliver. So we built the manufacturing chain to produce it ourselves — direct manufacturer-of-origin partnerships for individual chemistries (calcium sulfonates, ZDDP, polymeric VIIs, succinimides), in-house compounding and QC in our Delhi NCR lab, and an export documentation team that ships REACH-ready paperwork ahead of the container.
Today Lubechem Additives serves lubricant blending plants, grease manufacturers, OEM R&D labs, fleet operators, mining-house captive blenders, construction-equipment fluid suppliers, tractor & agri-machinery brands, defence and railway lubricant tenders, marine bunker blenders and finished-oil exporters across India, the Middle East, Africa and Southeast Asia. Our differentiator is not lower price (though we usually win on landed cost). It's that we behave like a co-formulator, not a catalogue.
