questions.

Practical answers to the questions we field most often — from first-time enquirers, technical teams, and procurement managers.

General
What is Lubechem Additives?
Lubechem Additives is the lubricant additives supply business under Lubechem Group. We supply engine oil, gear oil, hydraulic, grease, industrial, and marine additive packages — domestically across India and to twenty-plus export markets.
Are you a manufacturer or a reseller?
We are an additive supplier with direct manufacturer relationships and in-house QC verification. We do not operate our own additive synthesis plant. Every drum we ship is sourced from a named, qualified manufacturer with full lot-level traceability.
Where is your office?
Delhi NCR, India — Plot no. 525D, Kotla Vihar Phase 2, Tilangpur Kotla, New Delhi 110043. Stocking points in Delhi NCR with dispatch to ports of Nhava Sheva and Mundra for export.
How can I contact your technical team?
By email at info@lubechem-additives.com, by phone at +91-90688-82362, or via the enquiry form on our website. Response within 4 business hours.
What is the relationship between Lubechem Additives and Lubechem Consultant?
Both are units of Lubechem Group. Lubechem Consultant has been India's independent lubricant formulation R&D consultancy since 2010. Lubechem Additives is the supply business, launched to commercialize the chemistry our consulting team had been working with for over a decade.
Products & Technical
What additive categories do you supply?
Six categories: engine oil additives (DI packages, ZDDP, dispersants, detergents, VII, FM, AO, PPD), gear oil additives (GL-4, GL-5, MT-1, industrial CLP), hydraulic oil additives (AW, R&O, VII), grease additives (EP, tackifiers, solids, AO, CI), industrial additives (compressor, turbine, MWF), and marine additives (cylinder oil, TPEO, system oil).
Can you supply individual components or only full DI packages?
Both. We supply complete DI packages for most lubricant categories, and we also supply individual additive components for blenders who manage their own formulation.
Do you provide TDS and COA?
Yes. Every additive comes with a published TDS (typical performance properties). Every shipment ships with a lot-specific COA (measured values for key parameters from the actual delivered lot).
Can your additives pass BIS IS 13656?
Yes. Our PCMO and HDD DI packages are calibrated against BIS IS 13656 finished-oil tests. Our parent consulting business regularly runs BIS approval samples for customer blenders, so our calibration is real-world validated.
Can your additives pass API SP / ACEA C3 / OEM approvals?
We supply DI packages calibrated for API SP, ILSAC GF-6, ACEA A3/B4 and C3 finished-oil targets. Specific OEM approval pathways (e.g. MB 229.x, VW 502 00, Volvo VDS-4.5) typically require chemistry sourced from the global additive majors; we can supply and integrate those as part of a hybrid package.
How do your treat rates compare to imported additive packages?
For most commodity categories (PCMO, HDD, MCO, industrial), our treat rates are within 5–10 % of the typical imported package. For some categories we run slightly higher; for others, slightly lower. We share calibration data on enquiry so you can model finished-oil cost accurately.
What base oils are your additives compatible with?
API Group I, II, II+, III, IV (PAO), and selected Group V (esters). We hold compatibility data for each major DI package and can advise on base oil substitution.
Do you offer custom additive blending?
Yes, for volume customers. We can build a custom DI package against your finished-oil spec — adjusting detergent type, dispersant load, ZDDP variant, VII chemistry — and supply it as a single pre-blended additive.
